Established in 1999 in partnership with Pinellas County, the mission for Old Palm Harbor Main Street (OPHMS) is:

The businesses in Old Palm Harbor offer a mixture of retail, service, and professional offices that work together with OPHMS to attract customers and visitors. We strive to be the local destination for residents and visitors alike. The Main Street program sponsors various annual festivals and events such as: the Citrus Festival, Palm Harbor Parrot Head Party, First Fridays, Taste of Palm Harbor, Palm Harbor BikeFest, craft shows, and other community activities for families.
